We had a pretty low key Easter this year. We're still in the process of VERY SLOWLY unpacking and settling in, and with being sick the week before, I didn't have much of a chance to get really prepared. The Easter Bunny came early for us on Saturday morning, and the girls had fun hunting down their eggs and Easter baskets.

I think Emma looked at her basket 5 times before realizing what it was. |

This picture just cracks me up..."Mom, leave me alone, I'm busy..." |

For last minute, they got a pretty good haul. |
On Saturday night we headed to my parent's house. The girls had another Easter egg hunt thanks to Grandma and Grandpa. We slept there that night, then went to church the next morning at my parent's ward. The girls got to wear their Easter dresses from Grammy and Grampy. They looked pretty darn adorable.

Emma hates shoes...of any kind. She was insisting getting hers off as soon as possible in this pic. | | |
After church we hung out and waited for the yummy ham to cook. What an amazing Easter dinner, it was so wonderful! Once we ate we had to hurry and head out, we're adjusting to a longer drive from our house to Grandma's now. But we're grateful we are still close enough that we can get together for a short weekend!!
We are thankful for the knowledge that we have that our Savior lives, and that his atonement can work miracles in our lives on a daily basis. Now on to General Conference!!
