Molly Quote

David was telling me about a discussion he and Molly were having tonight. David was trying to explain something to Molly, and she asked him "but how do you know?" He replied, "because I know everything." Molly paused, then said, "well, momma can DO everything."

Fake it 'til you make it.

Brayden Misc

Brayden is growing so fast!  He is now 4 and 1/2 months old.  We love this little guy so much.  He is so happy and pleasant, and adores his big sisters.  He continues to be a good eater, and a so-so sleeper. He takes 3-4 naps a day, most of them about 20-30 minutes in length.  He still wakes up about every 3 hours at night to eat, but thankfully goes right back to sleep.

He had is 4 month check-up today.  He is 14 lbs, 8 oz, which is in the 19th percentile.  He's going down the charts!  He's about 25 inches long, which is also moving down the charts.  Only his head remains big.  He gets that from his Dad.

Here are some random pics from the last couple of months.

Enjoying a visit from his BFF Evan Johnson.

Trying to see the TV.
"Haha, funny show, Mom."
Molly and Brayden have the cutest conversations.
Yup, he's adorable.

The Holidays 2013

Thanksgiving and Christmas came and went so fast this year it seems like. We sure had fun though. Thanksgiving morning we hit the road and traveled to Grandma and Grandpa's house. Dinner of course was yummy.  Katie, Mom, and I ventured out that evening for some black Friday shopping. It was crazy, but fun.

Christmas was a low key event here at home.  We had fun just hanging out and playing with new toys. Santa brought Molly a camera and Emma a play kitchen. The day after Christmas we once again headed to my family's house.  We had a second Christmas, the they watched the kids so David and I could go out for our 10th anniversary.  Has it been so long?? Since we've gotten home, we've just been trying to get back into our schedule.

Emma is 3!!

My sweet little Emma girl is 3.  She had a great birthday and of course got super spoiled.  She is all girl, loves pink, and loves to dance in her tutu.

Emma loves Dora, so I made her a Dora cake in the traditional Wilton cake pan way.  She loved it!  She requested to go to dinner at Happy Joe's for pizza on the night of her birthday.  They have a huge play place.  Both the girls had a blast.  Love this girl!!

Snow time

This winter has already been pretty brutal.  Extremely cold temps, lots of snow.  And it's still only January.  Our poor house is in serious need of installation.  On the days it's in the single digits or below, it's hard to keep it warmer than 55 degrees.

It's been so cold, it's hard for the girls to go outside to play in the snow.  But, they've ventured out a few times.
